
PEEK material, also known as polyether ketone, is a high-end engineering plastic because of its excellent mechanical properties (high strength and hardness, good toughness), excellent chemical properties (resistance to strong acids, alkalis and corrosion) and its high-precision CNC processing parts are widely used in the medical, semiconductor, military, aerospace and other industries.
We use imported Röchling PEEK for 4-axis and 5-axis CNC processing; in LELAND Technology about 50% of PEEK processing parts use Röchling PEEK.
Here are some examples of PEEK machining parts applications:
1. The lathe milling products are mainly used in the automotive industry because PEEK has uniquely high strength and toughness. CNC processed PEEK parts can better meet the performance requirements.
2. It is used for additional testing of high-tech 3D glasses.
3. LELAND Technology provides PEEK processing parts to the mechanical instrumentation industry. At present, our production of PEEK high-precision processing parts have been widely recognized and used by customers.
4. The semiconductor industry has an extensive range of applications in PEEK precision processing parts. Sometimes, the component is only 1mm thick. LELAND Technology constantly improves its 4-axis and 5-axis machining technology, so even if some accessories are extremely thin, PEEK processing products still have good toughness and strength. The components are not easy to break as the flatness tolerance of the entire product can be maintained at ./- 0.03mm.
To date, our PEEK parts have been exported to many countries in Europe and the United States for medical, aerospace and military applications. All CNC machining parts are carefully inspected and reported using the appropriate measuring equipment before export.
In LELAND technology, all our test and measure equipment is imported. Each of our 5-axis CNC equipment is qualified with imported Reinshaw measuring systems. When machining, our system finds improper processes or any mistakes to prevent scrapped parts and save lots of time.
The measure equipment room is kept at a constant temperature and humidity (22°C-24°C, 45%-65% humidity) to make sure all the measurements are precise.
